Oh yes..........today was definitely A LOT cooler than the last two days. And the wind whipped up big time this morning. I even wore a sweatshirt this morning when feeding the horses!
Not much happened here today.
I did get a "reply" email from the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance acknowledging that they had receive my request for a second opinion. My request was forwarded to their Patient Intake Office. So now I will wait for them to get back to me. But of course I will only give them a couple of days before I call to ask for more details.
I've been getting lots of phone calls and emails from you guys out there. Thanks for caring so much and keeping me in your prayers. It means a lot to know that you are all there for me. You see, know it or not..........you are all part of my "team".
Yeah team.

Phyllis - If you'd like me to follow-up, I have two very good friends that were each diagnosed with a pancreatic mass - both were cancer when removed. Both friends went to Seattle and feel that they got the best treatment available - that's the only thing the group they doctored with specialized in and treated. One friend had a complete remission but later passed away from other problems and the other friend is still leading and active life. I'll get name of clinic etc. if you like. Mary

SOOOOO glad to read that you're going for a second opinion from SCCA!!! My boss still RAVES about that place and all of the information they provided her and her husband.
If you need a place to stay at when you have visits to SCCA, you are welcome to our guest room, and the easy part is that you still have a key to our front door lock!
