..............finally, Welcome to Virginia. This isn't a very clear picture because there was a big truck in the right hand lane and I just about didn't get a photo at all. So, what you see is what you get!
We left Hillsborough, NC this morning at 9:15am and arrived at my aunt's about 2:30pm. Gerri lives in a gated community, so we had to find a place to park the motor home. We're staying at Gerri's home for the next two nights. We're planning to go to Monticello in the morning, and to another place around here as well......plus do a geocache or two.
They say the weather is supposed to cool off in the next few days. It's close to 90 here today. But it's a much dryer heat than North Carolina. I really like it here at Gerri's. I'll try to get some pictures of her home.
Time for dinner. Trust everything is okay with all of you (since nobody has written to advise otherwise).

I just had to write a comment to let you know everything is going according to Phyllis. Weather turned quite cool her but I want to tell you that your lilac bushes are in full bloom and and oh so fragrant when I walk down my drive way. Tomorrow I might get a bunch to put in a vase. Sassie has taken over the ENTIRE couch! Thanks for the updates and pictures!
