What a great day. My cousins Carol Ann, Bob, Corie, Zip & Mary Ann arrived this afternoon for a visit. The time seemed to go really fast. Had a great visit with everyone and it was so good to see them all. It's always nice to be invaded by family!
I got a really honest-to-goodness shower today. Heavenly....that's all I can say. I think I drug it out for almost 20 minutes. Yea for hot water and soap.
Physical therapy came and we walked up and down the halls. I'm going farther every time. Not much, but a little. And I've also done my first solo walk here at the rehab facility.
This is really a pretty nice place. There are two beds in my room, but so far no roommate. As I walk the halls, I see that there are some rooms with no patients, so I'm assuming I'll be alone for at least the next little while.
Seattle finally got some rain. It's been really dry here, but last night the wind came up along with strong rain. Also had rain this morning, followed by brief periods of sunshine.
Thanks to all that continue to follow my journey. I must be getting better, because I'm starting to think about heading for home. We'll see what the doctor says on Tuesday.
Until next time. Thanks for all of your continued prayers and support.
Ouch.

Phyllis, I'd like to come visit soon. Soon as in maybe today if you're up to it? Hubby Man has been fighting a head cool. My son and daughter have been fighting sniffly-runny-noses & sore throats. BUT everyone seems on the mend. I'm wondering if I'm going to emerge unscathed. And I think it's safe to see you - and not make you come down with a nasty head cold.
I'll call you on your cell to get the address of your new abode.
Hugs,
M.
Sounds like you are doing well Phyllis hope all continues to do so.
Love and prayers to you. Nancy
We've had cleansing rain here in the Willamette Valley, too.
Sounds like you continue along the path of "Getting stronger every day..."
